Restorative Treatment

Restorative dentistry focuses on repairing or replacing damaged or missing teeth to restore function and aesthetics. It includes a range of procedures, including fillings, crowns, periodontal treatment, and dentures. Restoring the oral dentition helps patients regain their ability to eat, speak, and smile, free of pain and infection. Confidence in one’s smile can significantly improve their quality of life. Additionally, restorative dentistry performed in a timely manner can help prevent further damage or decay from turning into more costly and difficult dental procedures.

Periodontal Therapy

Scaling and Root Planing (SRP), also called a deep cleaning, is required for patients that either have or are at risk of developing gum and jaw bone disease. This procedure is performed by a Hygienist and involves minimally invasive techniques to get rid of plaque, tartar, and bacteria below the gum line. Each step with this deep cleaning is completed to ensure healthy gums and prevent tooth loss.

Filling

A key goal of ours is to restore and maintain the functionality of our patients’ teeth. We are able to surgically achieve this by removing the decayed portion of the tooth and filling it with replacement material. This step prevents further damage and is durable enough to protect the tooth for years to come.

Crowns

Dental crowns are an important restorative dentistry option that can help preserve natural teeth and prevent the need for more invasive dental procedures, such as extractions. These tooth-shaped caps are placed over damaged or decayed teeth to restore their shape, size, strength, and appearance. This ultimately helps to protect the tooth, while preventing further decay and enhancing its overall aesthetic appearance.

Bridges

An option for patients needing to replace one or more missing teeth is to receive a dental bridge. This restorative procedure fills the gap with a fixed replacement tooth, restoring the function and appearance of the patient’s smile. In addition to improving the patient’s ability to eat and speak, dental bridges can also prevent the remaining teeth from shifting out of place.

Extractions

We understand that having a tooth extracted can be an intimidating experience, and our dental team is here to create a safe and caring environment. Extractions are often necessary due to irreparable tooth damage caused by decay, periodontal disease, or trauma to the tooth. We coordinate closely with each patient’s care team to review past medical history and quickly recover post-surgery.

Dentures

Dentures are prostheses for replacing a patient’s missing teeth. Each set, or arch, is fabricated under the supervision of our Dentist and local lab. Over the course of multiple visits, we tailor each denture to the patient’s unique needs, ensuring a comfortable and natural-looking fit.
